Comparison of combined and processed images from Q453 and Nikon D300, taken under identical conditions and optimally processd in ImagesPlus. Note that the Q453 image seems to be a bit deeper, showing more dim stars. In each case the image was stretched in ImagesPlus until just before showing noticable background noise.
